I wonder what part of those revenues are generated by music content?
If you look at the page views for music and music tuition videos on Youtube alone you can see that music is one of the major factors behind Youtube revenues.
As you have also pointed out a search on Google for MP3s turns up hundreds of links to music pirate sites which have Google ads all over them, yet somehow they can exclude other sites that they do not like, like child pornography, from their index.
