Have a LGT145, 73-74 with a K321AS engine.? I thought perhaps the coil was going bad after 45+ years and purchased one via Ebay that was? supposed to fit.
When installed, the engine backfires thru the intake and exhaust, seem randomly.? Suspect the coil is for a newer K321 but not a vintage on like mine.? In conversations with the seller who is working with me, we measured the ohm resistance of the primary and the secondary and they are not the same as the original Jacobson/ford coil.? Is it possible I need an additional resistance block? Or just a different coil?
