Re: Display Protection boards
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýVince, are you ordering boards or are these spoken for? I can build my own if that is an option.Bob On 5/14/2019 4:39 PM, Vince Loschiavo

if the components are smt, ?then I would vote for it being populated. Personally, I would prefer to not wind torrid etc. ?and would rather buy them.? i suspect that a volume buy of parts would be more economical. But I hope you would value the time you put into this and price accordingly. No need to pass things along at cost.? Just my 2 cents 73 Mark AJ6CU? |
Re: IDE language reference?
If you are going to do much printing, laser is your best bet.? You can find a new HL series Brother laser printer for around $100 and a ream of paper (500 pages) is well under 10 bucks for the cheap stuff.? You'll should get a least a few thousand pages per toner cartridge and the off brand refill cartridges work fine at less than $20.? Also works good enough for making toner transfer pcb's.

O'Reilly "Nutshell" books tend to be fairly comprehensive and well-written. There's a decent one available for the Arduino. They say right out that it's not just another project book, but a reference for the board and its software. It's over 600 pages, so it probably incorporates a lot of the information in the online reference. It's also cheaper than printing it out yourself. ?? It has one MAJOR problem though - it's over 914 pages long - LOL. ?Unless you have a really fast double sided printer & lots of paper, you might want to reconsider printing this yourself. ?I don't imagine it will be cheap to get it printed at Office-Depot, Kinko's or the like either. ?I have an older HP OfficeJet that prints double sided at around 20 pages per minute but I don't think I'm going to print this one. ?With the cost of HP ink and even Sam's Club paper prices, it will almost be cheaper to have one of the local office supply houses print it. ?Certainly will be faster with their high speed laser printers. but I imagine the cost will be close to $100 unless I miss my guess. Open Audio Zip File
All:
IT's been pointed out that I didn't post the Open Audio ZIP file, which should be done in a few minutes. It was also said that the Audio.h header file wasn't in the Files section, either. That's as it should be as it is part of the Teensy 3.6 audio library files. I'm also attaching the ZIP file here. Jack, W8TEE |

I found two more files that need to be on here in the files area and those are ¡°OpenAudio_ArduinoLib¡± and ¡°Audio.h¡± that I read we were supposed to get from HamRadioDesigns.com and i¡¯m Hoping that¡¯s the last ones that are modified from the original that we need for the JackAl compile. Don't think so Jack - it works the same here using IDE 1.8.8 and 64 bit Windows 10 PRO. ?It's a Teensy 3.6 (maybe the other Teensy versions too) thing. W0EB

i put a new compile in to make sure what i said about speeds.
9600 set in the line just after setup and the monitor is at 115200. the first output in the monitor shows xmaplow1 = 752.21 xmaplow2 = 767.37 ? xmaplow = 776.81 xmaplow = 789.23 just those 4 numbers when i went into calibration the readout scrolled several hundred lines before i noticed it. is there a way to copy what is on the monitor? and i did give a readout of all the button positions but i have no was to copy them. dave |
