The standard 7805 will work much better as a 5V, 1.5A? regulator than the "LM7812CT/NOPB-ND? (Digikey)"??12V regulator called out in the revised bag of parts!
(good intentions to add part #s and sources, but not yet fully checked.? call it a cut and paste error)
Happy to see that the new bag of parts is calling out for ALL stackable headers!
? ? Using all stackable headers will allow for the Teensy board stack to be on both sides of the JackAl card.
There may be reasons why someone would want to do this.
Among these reasons is easier access to the additional K66 ports are available on the bottom side of the Teensy 3.6 board.
? ?Boards already exist that break this out in a standard 100 mil DIP too.
Also need to figure out the best way to add a 2nd USB port / host mode and Ethernet PHY (preferably using the K66 Ethernet MAC)
If in the end, you only stack up from the JackAl card; you can easily clip off the extended pins from the bottom of the JackAl.
