Overlapping permits were possible when I reserved on February 18. I reserved a permit but then saw a better one which I jumped on and reserved. The system allowed both. Of course, I promptly cancelled

one of the features of Rec.gov is that it doesn’t let you hold 2 permits with overlapping dates so hopefully they’ll make people update/report but maybe they’ll just go old style on the walkups
