Hi Lyn, my photo isn’t the Piute Creek bridge, it’s the next one south. There is then one more (wooden) crossing back to the east bank for the climb up into Evolution Valley. I’m assuming, based on the descriptions provided, that it is one of those two bridges being discussed. But… would be nice to see photos or have a report from an official agency to corroborate this.

Here's the bridge in question, on July 15, 2017 - check out the river flow!! I would not attempt to cross that under any circumstances without a bridge.
