Sorry I should have been more clear about the itinerary. I have a permit for a section hike from Reds Meadow to Minaret lake, thousand island lakes, Donahue pass and end in HI.?
To start the hike, as Ravi suggested,?I might day hike from Horseshoe to Reds on the previous day, camp the night at Reds and go to Minaret next morning and follow my permitted itinerary.?
