The image is a bit by bit copy from the original disk.? This includes the formatting, partition table (which defines the size of the partition table), the various data structures the operating system uses to locate the files...even the random stuff that was on unused portions of the original disk is part of the image.. So, when you put the image onto the new media, that image replaces all of information that used to be on the target disk. Also, make sure you don't copy the wrong direction.? It can take a long time to recover from that mistake...please don't ask me how I know that!? :-) Eric WB6TIX

I have tested 128, 64 ?(which I prefer to use) and 32 GB SD Cards. The method I used to expand the partition is rather lengthy and detailed.? Not really something I would care to email back and forward about.? What I can do is create a document and email it to you (and others that may want to try it).? But I do have an update on the subject and was just getting ready to post my solution.? While in the Quadra-4-HamRadio OS install G Parted.? this partitioning tool (for Linux) will allow you to resize the imaged partition without destroying the image. ????? Thank you for your response.? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Folks, ? ??? Has anyone tried, had any issues or been able to resize the partition of the Quadra image.? I have burned the image to a 64 GB micro-SD card and was attempting to expand the partition to use the entire drive.? All attempts to do this have resulted in a corrupted image that will not boot. ? ? ??? Thank you in advance for any assistance rendered. ? ? ??? Oh, and booting the image without resizing the partition works wonderfully.? I just hate having 45 GB on a drive just sitting there doing nothing. ? 73, ? Herbert K7HAD

Hi Tryg, The image I provided for HamPi for Inovato Quadra -- which I am now going to rebrand as "HamIQ", will run directly off the card that you insert. If you want, you can flash the image to the internal eMMC. That would require booting up from the card in the card slot, and running BalenaEtcher with the available image on either the card in the card slot, or another mounted flash drive. Does this help? Also, you fellows want to log into the "pi" account, not the "quadra" account. The password for "pi" is "raspberry". I have been running Build a Pi from Jason KM4ACK.? It won't run Vara but I've been running JS8Call etc. I'm having issues with Ardop but that could be Op Error on my part. I've put Quadra on the side as I'm having some Family and Health issues lately. I have a Xiegu G 90 but noticed my TX output was not sending audio. Not sure if it's the radio or Digirig Sound card.? The Quadra arrived this morning. It is a late breakfast for me and want to get stuck into the install after a few coffees. I am going to download the image now just as a backup. The idea of using the Quadra /M as it runs at 5 volts is very exciting. The customs charges were bad enough but postage from the US was really heavy. Basically the price of the Quadra itself. My one is very slightly scratched as well but I can live with that IF it works out ok. I have a question - what do I d/l from Github??

Hello to all, I have downloaded the software I am just waiting for the hardware. I really hope that this will all work out ok.
