Re: New Quadra-4 + USB dongle + WiFi
Thanks Danny! I'll have more out soon, I've just been waiting on a wsjtx update, so I can provide details on how to upgrade that (simple with the script w3djs wrote), followed by how to configure

Re: cant find ardop executable
I had to build ardop for my Arm64 Pinebook Pro and Pinephone (same binary) from source. As I recall, prebuilt binaries didn't work for me on those machines. I can provide the binary that I built upon

Re: New Quadra-4 + USB dongle + WiFi
I've been a fairly heavy consumer of SD cards for Pine64 hardware for some time now. I used to have frequent trouble with SD cards until I adopted ALL of the Armbian recommendations:

Re: New Quadra-4 + USB dongle + WiFi
When Balena Etcher reports that the flash has failed, what that means is that it makes a hash (fancy checksum) of the image it wrote and compares it to the hash of the source image, and if those two

Re: New Quadra-4 + USB dongle + WiFi
I've had similar problems using Imager. When I use Balena Etcher, it takes a long time and Etcher reports at the end that the flash has failed. I've found, however, that the flashed card works fine.

Re: Confused RE: How to re-image the Quadra
What size card are you trying to flash HamPi on?? It requires a minimum of 15.6gb...I use a 32gb card. And for the recod, HamPi/Hamclock is incredible!! 73, Danny NF4J -- 73, Danny Bush NF4J

Re: Confused RE: How to re-image the Quadra
When I boot Ham-Pi from the sd card, it looks like I have two *separate* linux boxes available -- the one with Ham-Pi installed and the one with the standard Quadra software installed. Is that right?

Re: HDMI Recommendations
I power my whole cooling-stack off of 12VDC and use 'Buck Converters' to supply the different shelves (My QDX Radio is 9V, my Quadra(s) are 5V) my lights and Fan are also 5V but on a separate circuit.

Re: HDMI Recommendations
I wonder what the buck regulator is to go from 12V to 5V -- alternatively, the boost regulator(s) to go from 5V to 12V. My guess is that the Quadra needs 5V for USB and other communication circuitry,

Re: New Cooling Solution for Pi and Quadra?
Well, I could go 'QDX Naked' and with the awesome (low-noise-fan) that comes with this shelf-kit, get away with it! However, this will undo all the cooling additions that I made inside the QDX box
