The EFI part is what mine seems to be missing.? I've looked all
over in the BIOS and don't find it.

Have you tried using the testdisk command to fix the GPT? Is your
computer EFI-enabled? Maybe you need to reconfigure EFI because it
cannot automatically find the new bootable drive? Try finding a
way to bring up the EFI/BIOS bootmenu. Some screens or screen
recording would be useful to narrow down what can be the problem.
