Diving into another SX99 for refurb. Everything looks good externally and it even plays which is a plus.
Discovered the shaft for the bandspread is slightly bent. It works....but on a revolution, it gets somewhat stiff requiring a little more pressure to move on.
Anyone ever "straightened" one of these?
I have another SX chassis that one can be robbed out of, but if there is a chance of getting most of this bend out, I may be able to save myself some heartache.
Suggestions?
