Opened the mailbox this afternoon and Tony's Capacitors came through. Nice big bag of assorted values for the SX series. Began the replacement process this evening. Will not put any power to it till my can arrives in the next day or so and it gets replaced. Get all the tiny chiefs out that I can get to before removing the faceplate. Will then give the radio first taste of power without tubes and see what happens. At least leave the rectifying tube out anyway. Fingers crossed!
