Burt, I think you mean me, not Steve. The LCD display is better in all ways, nothing to complain about whatsoever, I cannot find one thing I dislike. The VGA out was made by hand from some 1/8"

Hi William, when you swapped the controller boards, did you keep the eeprom with the problem unit? I suspect the non recoverable error is from the calibration eeprom on the controller board. Rick

Hi Rick, Yes, it definitely looks like the Modulation Distribution Board is faulty. The label on the board says 08920-60409 with a sub number A-3308-10 The Serial I/O card on the 8920A is also proven
