Hi Fellows, Last offer before retirement...

CLIP P/N
is E4400-90336
Model
covered:
E4400B,
E4420B,
E4421B,
E4422B,
E4423B,
E4424B,
E4425B,
E4426B,
E4430B,
E4431B,
E4432B,
E4433B,
E4434B,
E4435B, E4436B
I’m sure that
also E44xxA
series are
covered
because i have
also
ESG-D3000A =
E4432A and
boards/modules
of this guy
are also
covered.
Keysight seems
didn’t put
E44xxA series
in the
Find-A-Part
database
because is
older than B
series.?
Was a lot
of work to
scan over
1000pages...I'm
asking 35USD
or 30EUR
When we did
a scan, not
optimal
scanner
parameters
were used...
scanner
ignored
inductors
(spring like
lines) but
references and
values are
there. Once we
saw this, was
to late to do
job again.
Zip file
size is about
122MB
I told,
not perfect
scan quality
but totally
useful, please
check
attachment. Please contact me on my private email: milan.vasic@...

I don't think that would be fair at all to Milan.? I know from experience that it is a LOT of work to scan a manual, especially one as big as this.? His price for it is quite reasonable, especially since it is not easily available.? (and I'm not known for being loose with my money)
My $.02 worth.

So I think there was confusion on my statement - which I agree was not well thought out.
What I think I was going toward was purchasing the document for the groups use - so We should ask what Enviado thinks would be a reasonable charge to put it in ut library and we all split the cost.
Not really trying to devalue his work.
Cheers!

I'm always heartened and delighted when I hear of a CLIP for a new type or class of instrument, just in case my HP-repairaholic habit kicks?up again. I was momentarily worried when Milan declared this a "Last offer", but I think we'll be able to buy a copy from him for years to come. While I'd certainly kick in a few bucks to group buy the scan into the public domain, I'd be just as comfortable buying it at-need from Milan.

Certainly didn't mean to try and deprive you of any (hard earned) income.

I don't want to discard the Milan work that had to be massive, but those manuals appeared?a while back on ebay fro I think a lower price. This is how I obtained them. Could be around 2/3 years ago.? Best regards, Alberto

So I think there was confusion on my statement - which I agree was not well thought out.
What I think I was going toward was purchasing the document for the groups use - so We should ask what Enviado thinks would be a reasonable charge to put it in ut library and we all split the cost.
Not really trying to devalue his work.
I'm always heartened and delighted when I hear of a CLIP for a new type or class of instrument, just in case my HP-repairaholic habit kicks up again. I was momentarily worried when Milan declared this a "Last offer", but I think we'll be able to buy a copy from him for years to come.
While I'd certainly kick in a few bucks to group buy the scan into the public domain, I'd be just as comfortable buying it at-need from Milan.

With all the confidential markings on the schematic and such, it’s best to have the manual scanned and distributed by someone who has a license to do so. I’m sure some people in this group have the license to distribute manuals for discontinued/obsolete HP/A/K test equipment. Scanning a pdf for personal or organizational backup is one thing, making it available to the public would be a different matter, for profit or not. By the way, if we see missing line segments on the scanned schematics, more than likely they are not there to begin with. It has to do with the EDA tool that HP used back in the day. I’ve seen original CLIPs missing segments or sometimes entire symbols.

Do NOT worry - I believe HP has issued a blanket permission on most ot their CLIPS.

Dear Xu ? I assume you are new to this site and specifically HP ? The reason I say this is that copy right regarding HP equipment documentation was all sorted out approximately 15 years ago So much so that HP then asked the members of this present site for manuals in PDF format that they were missing ( this group was ?hosted by a different provider at the time ) Also HP direct their customers to Dave at ARTEK for documentation to support HP / Agilent equipment ????So all is OK to copy Scan and distribute ? Regards Paul ? ? ?

So there is no problems with what we are presently doing also HP did come to us for help with providing the manuals they were missing in PDF format
