Easily 90% of the e-mail I receive has HTML in it. The exceptions are private e-mails. The rest have HTML. Maybe some enterprising person can make a retailer server that strips all HTML from incoming

Re: ADMIN: [HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment] PCMCIA FLASH and HP8920B
I don't agree at all, but I respect your opinion. Mine, though, is that HTML, which is for making web pages pretty, has no place in email. Email is about communicating to people, textually. I for one

digests, Re: [HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment] PCMCIA FLASH and HP8920B
Simply suggesting that someone go to digest mode is a non-starter. Think about how they work...digests are for people who want to read what's going on. Mailing list subscriptions are for

mailing lists!, was Re: [HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment] PCMCIA FLASH and HP8920B
I could not disagree more. This is a MAILING LIST...not a web page authoring system! If you want to put up a web page about something, do so...on a web page hosting platform. Post "editing" just makes

Re: PCMCIA FLASH and HP8920B
Getting back on topic, The 892x test sets can access 2MB memory on external cards (21 address lines on socket). You can use larger cards as long as you don't put more than 2MB on them. Anything above

Not sure what happened as my post that was sent in by email apears to be missing the body text. I am replying to myself to send in the missing text. Sorry if I am in some way doing it wrong. ===

I would reply to you privately, but haven't figured out how to do it. *I won't continue to take the blame on this*. groups.io is set by default to deliver e-mails in the most robust way possible. I

Re: Free for postage 653A Option H01 Operator manual
I don't think it is too easy to fake the time stamp. I notice some spammers put the time-stamp in the future, so it always looks like they have sent me the last email. Dave -- Dr David Kirkby Ph.D

Hi Thomas, looks like you've made some good progress. Q6 area is the place to focus on first. You said touching its case made a large increase in amplitude. Is this a metal can type TO-5 or TO-18 etc,

Re: ADMIN: [HP-Agilent-Keysight-equipment] PCMCIA FLASH and HP8920B
I have no interest in receiving the digest, as I archive the posts on my local system. I have been doing this archiving since 2007. 2/3 of the US is rural, and doesn't have great internet service,

Re: PCMCIA FLASH and HP8920B
Tam; You can trim your delivery to block any attachments and get only a digest e-mail. The problem, perhaps is that the groups I/0 system defaults to the most robust delivery options.

Calm down? Me? Not likely, I am calm enough. Let's talk about what just happened and why. The why is when this group was recreated, Dave, for whatever reason, left the "maximum attachments size"

Chuck; If you go to preferences you have an option for a variety of delivery options. The default gives you individual messages and you will get a message every time there is activity on any topic

I still have one old WIN98 laptop with a PCMCIA slot in my closet. I recall trying the MCE program and having difficulty using it or figuring it out.? If I can weed out the 12V cards I might try that
