AFAIK, Chuck needed some gears just to spec them out and find off-the-shelf
supply of them. I presume he'd be fine with broken gears, as long as enough
pieces are left.

The firmware IS the same on all three units. They all use the same
processor board, only the output attenuator/ impedance matching box is
different.
