Hi,
I just bought an 8657A generator and I noticed something odd compared
with other generators that I have used.
When the power is initially turned on, the unit remembers the last
setting for frequency and amplitude and displays these readings so I
know that the RAM battery must still be good (the unit was recently
calibrated by Agilent). However, there is no RF output until I press
RF ON/OFF twice (once to turn the RF off and blank the display, and
once to turn the RF back on). I can live with this but I was curious
if any other 8657A users have noticed this or if there is something
wrong with my unit.
