Re: Wanted: HP Laserjet 4
Depends on whether it's been rehabbed. Think the fuser is rated for 60k. Service manual shows intervals. The bay shows many units for sale with 200k+. Starting at $200. Think I paid 75$ for a complete

Re: Asymmetric trace "dot" on Hp 141-T display section
Its been many years since I worked on a 141 but it seems to me it has an astigmatism adjustment in it. Listed in the handbook somewhere. Correcting this effect is what its for. You need to juggle

Asymmetric trace "dot" on Hp 141-T display section
Hi All, On my recently acquired HP-141T, 8554B and 8552B plugins, I noticed that the trace has a sort of vertical thickness to it, as though someone is drawing the traces using a calligraphy pin

Re: Replace Neon NE-2 with Zener in 141T PSU?
Hi Arie, I will definitely try that first, removing the board does look like a hassle. What value of resistor did you end up with for R21 (5.4k is stock)? Thanks very much, --E

Re: Wanted: HP Laserjet 4
Have parts and toner. Just like having several of one piece of test gear. Swap parts, keep it running. As others have concurred, commercial equipment used in a home business lasts and lasts and lasts.

Re: 141T reference replacement
I don`t think its a NE2 used as the voltage reference in the 141T psu pcb, I think its a genuine 82 volt reference tube with good TC. Its a pity they didn`t include a little speck of radium or similar
