8566B Can't Calibrate
Hi all, Whilst it initially appeared my SA was fully functioning when the YTO error got fixed, there is something still not right with it. The signal levels it's displaying are out by quite a bit

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
You can get tungsten carbide (aka... and more usually, just carbide) ... you can get carbide? 'tipped' utility knives, and especially awls, or 'scratchers.'

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
For machining purposes I find it is best to assume such connectors are glass filled and use an abrasive rather than sharp cutting blade. As always, feed slow and let the blade do its work rather than

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
If it's like a masonry/ceramic disk, or wheel... they work by abrasive grinding, and not cutting 'chips' like a saw blade. IME, it's slower, and generates a lot more heat... which is a problem with

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
You can sometimes see the glass fibers, if they are there, after cutting or scratching the 'plastic'. I can't see them anymore without a good pocked lens, or magnifying glass. They just look like

Looking for manual for 16340A RC box
Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has a copy (or can scan their copy) of the manual for the 16340A RC Box? I would like to have a go at making one and I just want to be sure I get it constructed correctly.

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
That's good for cutting stainless, when just HSS won't very well do it. It might last longer than HSS; but if HSS is getting dulled, then that will happen to the 'coated' HSS blade you ordered too.

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
Hey, if it's glass fiber reinforced plastic, or you're cutting PCBs with it, you'll need solid carbide blades in order to be able to expect a meaningful tool life. Even better, if this happens

Re: WOT (Waay off topic): circular saw blade not cutting anymore (gets stuck on material)
The dust is deadly. You could try using a hacksaw with water applied. The water keeps dust from happening, and lets the cuttings move out as they are made. pcb material can be scribed with a sharp
