Hi Tom I am almost certain that the K1 relay is the problem. Sorry, I wasn't clear earlier that the attenuator had no issues from the get go. The final attenuation I got was with this "high-pass"

Hello Sriram, If the attenuator is OK, do you think the relay is the problem? Bypass the relay and look at it on your SA and see if that fixes the problem. You can get the service manual, such as it

yup im gonna keep fixing it until its broke ! lol,just got my new iron delivered so will change caps on the original psu and see how it goes,still unsure tho if a fault on the mainboard didnt cause

using the atx psu was done basicaly as a test to check the scope,this scope was totaly dead in the water,at least now i know the crt etc are ok,this was done while waiting for new caps to be

You have the electronic attenuator, and not the mechanical one, correct?? The electronic attenuator has no O rings.
