Re: Mating APC 3.5 with APC 2.92 connectors
REALLY Jeff - I DO NOT SEE THE NEED FOR THE USE OF DIVISIVE NAME CALLING. It s OK (IMO) to call out CHINESE connectors of poor quality, it is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE IN THIS FORUM TO USE THAT TERM.

Re: Mating APC 3.5 with APC 2.92 connectors
Way back when in 1986,when I first purchased 2.92 Connectors from Wiltron ( the inventor, which was why HP did the 2.4, cause they couldnt stand buying connector from their competitor, Wiltron),

Re: Mating APC 3.5 with APC 2.92 connectors
Hi, unless you do some very critical work and need to see 50dB of matching... :) I'd say it will not matter in practical terms. I have never "seen" the transition in normal work And never directly

Re: LODA and TG 85644A
One thing I should also mention is the IF out connection on the rear of your 8593 should be terminated to 50 ohms when not being used. I noted on mine I would get level errors if it was left floating.

Re: LODA and TG 85644A
For adjusting the LODA in you 8593, refer to the service guide for 8590 series analyzers, assembly level repair manual. Pages 139-141 for options 09/10.

Mating APC 3.5 with APC 2.92 connectors
Hi, I know that APC 3.5mm and APC 2.92mm connectors mechanically mate. What I would like to know: What is the electrical impact of doing so? Background: I had the chance to measure some 3,5mm DUTs on

Re: SCC 1906-0231
The ¡°1906-¡° prefix would indicate it is a varactor or thyristor the R712 reference designator indicates it is a resistive device. HP, Agilent, Keysight prefixes 1902-, 1906- are generally diode

I will have to look through the manual to refresh my memory. I do know it¡¯s wasn¡¯t particularly difficult to set up. The hardest part was installing the hardware.

It is CR19, part of the 5-volt rectifier circuit in the power supply assembly A22. The HP description for part number 1906-0231 is ¡°DIODE-CT-RECT 200V 15A.¡± Looks like a fairly simple device to
