We use these where I work to monitor various sensors. Not too much use for a ham operator, more like lab gear.?

Look at what they actually sell for, that's a lot less.

I purchased a bunch of boxes of parts, development kits and some test equipment at an estate sale. I picked up a nice Tektronix 100Mhz 2 channel real time data LCD O-scope with all kinds of probes, A Tenma Jupiter function generator and an HP E3631A triple output power supply.?

But one device has me wondering " What is it, What does it do? "

This is what I have....

HP 34970a -?Data Acquisition / Switch Unit

two 34901a -?Data Acquisition 20 Channel Multiplexer Module

34903a -?20 Channel Actuator/GP Switch

34904a -??4x8 Two-Wire Matrix Switch

34907a -?Data Acquisition Multifunction Module

82357B - USB - GPIB interface

and all sorts of user manuals, service manuals, CD's, wires and cables to go with this unit.

SO..... what does this thing do??

What is it used for??

Any practical use for the average Ham Operator/tinkerer?

I see the eBay prices of these items.... wow... maybe I should just offer it for sale and call it a day.... anyone here need one?

Thanks
