A lot of files are being uploaded but we seem to have inconsistent of file name format

Going back in time we had approximately 60 pages (20 files per page ) of files / manuals

With various names eg? 8350 , HP 8350 , sweeper 8350 , manual 8350 , service 8350 etc

?

So as a quick tidy up all the prefixes were deleted and if more than one entry existed for

an equipment number a file was made jurying this process another 20 + pages were uploaded we ended up with 2 pages and a directory system that enabled quick access instead of 80 pages

?

we now have a mixture of files a folders? and Dave is now making folders for each enabling members to uploaded to the folders my question within the folder we have a mixture Eg

8350 , HP 8350 , (Manual part number) , description , Agilent? (when the manual is HP)

Then we have the prefix as in? E4418B

?

To be consistent with the manual front page I suggest the following format and No manufactures name? eg

?

8350?????? sweeper ??????op, service, CCT , manual part number, revision date

?

E4418 Power meter? op, service, CCT , manual part number, revision date

?

Hopefully this will also address the following issues about Circuit Diagrams CCT

Service manuals that should have circuit diagrams ( CCT ) but they are missing

Service manuals that never had CCT as thy had CLIPS

Service manuals that only go down to Module or PCB level

?

Also the word ARMY should be included in the manual part number if it is an army document

?

A large amount of pictures are going into the documentation files?

Should these go into the pictures file?
