This is very helpful information, thank you. I haven¡¯t used this tool before but I was able to get it up and running and it looks like I can use it to create my own .ck files for the 8753.

Jeff,

There is a utility called VNA Cal Kit Manager (or something very similar). It has most of the kit constants and allows you to download them into the 8753. The utility was written by a HP engineer who was part of the 8753 design team, so you can safely assume that the data is correct. There used to be a web site for that software, you may be able to find it.
