I have a 3455A that I have been using, and recently it stopped working and throwing the Cal Constant #12. After finding my 30 Volt test point low and TP 14 low, I found capacitor C57 bad with my Peak ESR meter. After replacing this capacitor, everything went back to normal when the Test button is pushed, and my voltages came back up fine.
My question is, when I bought the correct dimension capacitor on DigiKey, they were all listed as "audio" capacitors and not "general" service. Its a Nichicon UKZ1H221MHM capacitor. Is it OK to leave in or should it have a general service capacitor.
Thanks, Rob?
