Re: TinySA construction

Dear colleagues,
?????? In a few days I will draw a schematic diagram ?
starting from what has been presented so far. I've planned time for work. For pc board ?I want to choose a scalable solution so that changes can be made on the same pcb. I'm thinking of making a cut out in which to enter a plate with the two SAW filters and LC networks for adaptation. For the attenuator I like to be from SV1AFN.com ?which is tested by me and goes perfectly up to 2Ghz. I'm trying to avoid Chinese modules especially as they're coming harder and harder. ?Integrated circuit mixer(not module block) ?and ?LPF I want to put them together on the pcb , but shielded separately ?. In fact, everything has to be shielded as I saw in an very old SA made by a factory. I do not know how SI4432 works, but there may be room for a TCXO and an LDO ultra low noise e.g. TPS79133. As a parenthesis I can add a pure DC power block that I experienced on SI5351 for low phase noise?. The problem would be that it has many components ?and obviously a few dozen lines of code in Arduino.? ?Of course there's no way for any SMPS in this experimental setup. ?I chose the passive componets to be 1206 series, but obviously not everywhere.? I want to gather some ideas from you until I finish editing the capsules that I don't have in Easy Eda ?and maybe we have a final schematic by then. Let's hope Erik has time to get the job done with the schematic diagram .?
???????
Another news is that I spoke to Rubens Ramos VK5FE who makes the final settings at his analyzer up to 3Ghz + TG with extension to 20Ghz. It was published in RadCom August 2018 from the RSGB. Maybe someone knows him better and finds out some design secrets because he published only the operating mode and ?the schematic diagram , as you well know.
