TSO prompts for the password, and I type it in. If it is a batch job then the console prompts me with a message requiring a response, and it accepts that no problem – IE the R xx type response.

The CBTTAPE software is tiny compared to the size of a 3390-54 that is mostly full of data.? I'm not sure you could even send a full volume backup via XMIT. Brian
