¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Twice when I replied to an email in our group, I got the response below. Other times, all is well.

So far, no group member has reported this.

?

What could be happening here?

groups.io rejected your message to the following email addresses:

[email protected] ([email protected])
Your message couldn't be delivered. The error returned by the email server outside Office 365 suggests that the Internet's directory listing for the recipient's email domain (the text after the "@" symbol in the recipient's email address) doesn't exist or isn't set up correctly. A distinct and correct listing for the recipient's domain must exist to determine where to send the message. This can only be fixed by the recipient's email admin. To fix the problem, contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and give them the error message below to give to their email admin to fix.

For Email Admins
When Office 365 tried to send the message outside of Office 365 the external email server returned the error below. This error was reported by an email server outside Office 365 and it indicates that the Domain Name System (DNS) mail exchanger (MX) record or A record for the recipient's domain doesn't exist or isn't set up correctly. To fix this contact the recipient's email admin and ask them to work with their domain registrar (or Web host provider) to properly set up a correct MX and A record for their domain.

Only the recipient's email admin can fix this. Unfortunately, Office 365 support won't be able to help with these kinds of externally reported errors.

It sounds like a bug.? Groups.io's bug report address is [email protected].
/static/help#questions

I suggest you forward the mails to them and explain the situation as you have done here, and add "#bug" to the subject line.

That's a problem with the email server that's trying to send the message to GIO.? The DNS MX or A record is incorrect, so GIO won't talk to it.? It's not uncommon for outlook servers to have glitches like that.
