Members who have never verified their email addresses and permanently bouncing members are not included in the smaller number.

When I go to the admin tab and look at the number of members in a group, is displayed.? When I go to the group's home page, only? 179 members are shown under group information.? What would be the reason for the discrepancy?

Has a hashtag been applied to the topic? What is the subject of the message?

It's common for group admins to restrict the reply options on certain topics. For example, if someone posts a "for sale" ad, the topic may be restricted to "reply to sender," so the other group members aren't subjected to the noise of you haggling with the seller.

Is this a permissions issue?
There are no posting overrides that can be used to designate the reply-to options on a subscriber-by-subscriber basis. There's something about this topic (or topics).

Unable to respond to group

In 2 out of 3 groups I belong to, I can send to all of these 3:

But in one of these groups, I can only respond to Sender (even on threads I started).
?
Is this a permissions issue? How do I resolve this? Others in this group have no problem responding to the group.

Many thanks Andy.? I didn¡¯t give a thought to being signed in with the wrong ID.? No wonder I¡¯ve been having so much trouble.

Such a simple solution to so much stress.? A lesson I will not forget I hope ?

The option has not been removed. You will find an option to send a Special Notice below the message composition window:

Or you can use a hashtag that has the the Special Notice attribute selected:

If you are not seeing the option below the message composition window then check that you are logged in with an account that has permissions to send Special Notices. Look for the Owner or Mod badge next to the Home icon on the left side menu:

I recommend that you first try out the Digest option in your group¡¯s profile.? Subscription ¨C Settings and then select from the Email Delivery Options.? Digest reduces the number of messages you see your Inbox from the group.

You can leave the group or change your subscription settings to something that's more acceptable to you such as No Email.

Do this:
1) Log out of groups.io
2) Go to /register?
3) Enter the desired email address and a password.
4) Click the Create Account button.
5) If you get an error message, tell us what it says.

Its simple. I just want to log in to my account. But it says email address has been removed. But i can still see my public messages there. Is there an admin with powers to help me recover my account?
