Is it too late for us to make a subgroup?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

The transfer agent has shown up in our group as a member. When I set the group up on , I did not include any subgroups. But I should have. We have a ¡°sister¡± yahoo group that we created years ago, when Yahoo only gave a group 100mb of space. It holds only files and photos we could not fit in our main group.

I didn¡¯t know what to do about it so I created a basic free forum for it here, with the idea that I would manually download about 30 files and about 150 photos and upload them to the basic free forum.?

Since then, I believe I have read here in GMF that I could have made the files and photos sister group a sub-group under our main group. I think it would be much better for us to have everything in one place (group). Is it too late to do that now that the transfer agent has shown up as a member in the main group? I have not made the agent a moderator yet and I haven¡¯t clicked any buttons to tell it to go ahead with the transfer.

Thank you
Susan B

If the total space for files and photos of both groups is less than 10G, you can put them all in one place.? Transfer the main group as usual.? When it's complete, transfer the the second group into the first GIO group as well.? A subgroup would work, but there are things to consider before creating one - /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Why-use-a-Subgroup
