It also seems like Yahoo has deleted the photos and files on the backend, so I am not sure there will be much to migrate.? I have signed up and will let you know what does get migrated.

Sure. Direct Add is achieved almost exactly like sending an Invitation. The screens even look almost identical. The only real difference is that the subscription proposal does not have to be accepted
