Many members are on nomail so when the messages are no longer accessible on the home page, well I guess they will find out the hard way so I just answered my question.?
Yeah, pretty much.

You can try to notify them by collecting all the "no email" people and contacting them directly (i.e.: outside of Y!G). In practice, I think you'll find that most of those accounts are deadwood and emails will begin to bounce as soon as you start sending them anything.
