¿ªÔÆÌåÓýWell, hopefully one of the other members, can help you here. I'm not for sure of a storage limit being involved before a lot of groups had to go to the premium status because of other things. But I may be wrong. Hopefully somebody else here can help.

You may also want to consider sponsorship which is open to all groups - /helpcenter/ownersmanual/1/using-the-sponsorship-feature-to-defray-groups?single=true
or donations - for premium groups - /helpcenter/ownersmanual/1/taking-donations-and-reviewing-payment-activity?single=true

We¡¯re not currently premium or enterprise.? We¡¯re on the basic, free plan but must have started before the date you mention since we have 7 subgroups. However, we can¡¯t easily move files or folders between sub groups, which I¡¯m hoping would be easier if we upgraded. Currently we have to download all the data in one subgroup, have it sent by email in a zip file and then choose what we want to keep from the zip file and upload it to the other subgroup. ? ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIf you're currently a premium group, you can send questions to Support at Groups. io and get your questions answered that way if you're wanting to talk with the website creator. If you're just wanting general information, we can provide you with what we do now. It's like if you were to downgrade to a free group like you currently are, you would be losing some features such as direct dad and probably some storage. Depending on when you created the group. As far as I know it, premium Group said the only ones that can create sub groups unless they were created before a specific date.

Upgrading questions
Hi, We're an all volunteer dog rescue organization currently using the free groups.io.? We've been using it awhile and seem to have a legacy account which gives us more features than the current basic account.? However, we keep running out of room in 1 particular subgroup and then have to do a lot of shuffling in order to add more files to keep up with the growing number of dogs we take in.? Other than pricing, is there anything we should be concerned about?? If at some point we can't continue to afford the fees, will we be able to easily downgrade to basic again?? And if so would it be the current basic or to the legacy account we currently have?? ?I haven't been able to find anywhere to ask these questions of a groups.io employee, but if you have an email or number that would be very helpful.?

As far as payments for a group, any reserves are used first, then the balance is charged if there's a valid payment method set up.

There appears to still be a problem.? When I try to add payment method on the billing page, the application (I am on a Windows 10 PC) takes me back to the Home page.? The add payment method is now greyed out.??

Note that I am now registered with the Stripe (I understand it is a competitor of PayPal) application for payments after I first tried to change the payment method.? Perhaps forcing you to Stripe is now the behavior set by the application.? You will have to use Stripe if you change your payment method. I just want to be sure that the reserve credit is taken into account when Groups.io charges my card through Stripe.? I tried contacting the owner/administrator of Groups.io but that puts me on a sales page for prospective new groups.?

Rather than have my card info stored on another server, I use it through Paypal (where it's always stored) to make a sponsorship for the balance due.? That also prevents an accidental charge to it for anything that may go wrong.

Problem with Payment Method HELP NEEDED
I went to update payment method as the CC is no longer valid.? After what I thought was a successful update, I went back to billing and there is no payment method shown. I click on payment method and it only takes me to the home page for the group.?
?
I also have $135 in the reserve to go towards payment. I need to ensure this is applied to the $220 fee so my personal card is only charged $85.00,

I have an issue with the calendar. After deleting a meeting the reminders were sent out even though the meeting had been cancelled a week earlier. This has happened twice now.?

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI think that they have to do it themselves. If they're unable to do it, you can ask them to send you an email me a login link, then you would be able to just go in and just change their entire profile to say that name, and then they would automatically be listed on all of their groups. Then you can request an email me a login link for your own account when you're done messing with their account. I think that would honestly be the best situation in all cases.

I just decided to test making someone a moderator. My test group has one subgroup.
I gave all permissions as moderator to my other email address.
However under Admin, I could not see Members. I could get to it from Subgroups, Members.
And when I clicked on a group member from that list, it just flipped to the group home page.
?
Can someone else test this please? Very odd.

Hello all First I need to apologize to Ms. Frances for misleading in how I worded my outcome. ? I did contact Mark Fletcher, I contacted the person who created the group and sub groups that I am speaking of. There are 2 sub groups that I need to change the display name of a troubled member as it is a sensitive matter. ? I have been up all night trying to figure it out, I have been applying all the wonderful hints and tips but to no avail. I am wondering if the member has to go in to that one group and make the changes herself, which is very disappointing because use to be that I as mod or owner was able to do this for my members. Especially if they are less savvy than I. ? I contacted the host of the group and I did let him know that maybe he has to set the settings where mods can make these small changes upon request, which I have no problems doing, if I can help a fellow member. Since that is not happening at the moment, I am still stuck and feeling helpless when it comes to assisting my members. ? All I need and wish to know is, is this a possibility? Or does that member have to go in to the group site and make the changes themselves. ? ´¡²Ô»å¡ Why has this feature changed? Or is it just me ? Sorry, just feeling so lost here and hopeless. ?
