This won't prevent the person concerned being able to read the message in the archive, neither will it prevent anyone else quoting it in a reply to the group.

Double whammy, you could solve the first problem by deleting the message from the archive but then you can't lock the topic to prevent replies to the group.

There is none.? Awhile back, someone sort of did it by creating a subgroup, but didn't allow the suprisee to be a member, but that's not guaranteed.
