Thanks for all your help.

The user just let me know that he followed the bounce-notice instructions and sent him a message saying he has been unbounced.

I'll believe it for sure when he starts receiving postings, but won't post back here unless his account bounces again after?new postings arrive.

Sending a bounce probe does not removing the bouncing state from a member's account. The member needs to respond to that probe either using the link in the bounce probe message or by logging in to the Groups.io site and following the instructions in the banner message.
