While awaiting my last message to get through moderation I did a quick test on Shal's test group, but starting a test topic and then "reporting" it. I was sent a message by Groups.io stating that the message had been reported (along with all the other members of that group I have moderator status) but the topic (single post!) did
not disappear; the link in the message I was sent went straight to it.
FWIW the "reply" I sent was to myself, for the simple reason that I did not notice that the default reply option changes to one whereby the message
originator is the recipient, not the group, but a second reply went to the group as normal when I clicked the right tab.
I can confirm that nothing of this (pointless!) exchange appeared in the Activity Log.
