Hi Shal,
I've done some testing around this and have some new info for you, I still think this might be a groups.io issue, can we look at it?

With the box?I always want copies of my own messages checked
  1. I get the 2 messages from groups.io as mentioned earlier
  2. Only happens for newly originated messages, does not happen for replies - for sure, tested
  3. From your comment: "...The one From your address is your message as sent; the one From your address via??is the copy of your message returned to you by Groups.io..." why would I get 2? is one related to the setting of getting copy of my messages and one since I am a subscriber? see below:

  • No emails received at all!
  • I would expect to only get one message since I am a subscriber
Almost sounds to me like the setting?I always want copies of my own messages is not working correctly? what do you think?
