Re: Updates re: Delivery Times
I suspect you will get the polarscope and OPW quickly unless you requested them to be installed on the mount. I ordered my G11 last May, but I don't think my experience is an accurate measure of the

Re: Updates re: Delivery Times
Hi, I ordered a G11 with Gemini in November, prior to knowing about Gemini II. The order is through All Star Telescopes in Didsbury, Alberta, and the owner talked to Losmandy early last week; the

Re: Updates re: Delivery Times
I ordered mine February 9 through a dealer. They said to expect a April/May delivery for new orders at that time. I guess more orders must be coming in and the backlog growing now that Gemini-II is

Updates re: Delivery Times
While some of us are waiting for our Gemini II's wondering if anyone can help us with expected delivery dates based on their experience. I've been on order since early January (3rd or 4th) and just

Re: Buttons
PS The other reason I went into detail, is that keeping up with one set of keypads in real time is hard enough, but the possibility of having to keep up with 3 sets key pads in parallel is no small

Re: Buttons
Hi Rainer No I completely understood you. I was just trying to say that Ren??? is trying to provide the same functionally that was in the Gemini 1. Switching the DEC and RA buttons with each other

Hi, OK, I do not have a Gemini II but my impression is that we are making this button issue too complicated. Let us think KISS. Let us sir behind the mount and observe the telescope on the RA and DEC

Re: Future Hand controller code
PS The schematic for the Joystick is correct. When the push button is pushed, it acts as if you pushed the opposite button while keeping the current direction button engaged, on a 4 button controller.

Re: Future Hand controller code
Hi Bill and Frank You could also build a joystick something like what Rainer did. See message 22593 in the Gemini user group. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Gemini_Users/message/22593 Tom HIlton

Hi Bill and Frank Also remember that the old 4 button controller(no LED readouts) that was originally supplied with the early Gemini units also works with the Gemini 2. It is still available from

How is this handled in professional telescopes? I wouldn't know. :O) Maybe they use joysticks which have 2 or more positions in any direction. Push it once to the right for Guide speed, farther to the
