Same here. I don¡¯t see how the current polar scope would use that device Kirk. Might be for earlier models?

This is the entire ¡®led¡¯ portion of the scope that just screws in to the polar finder.

?

Unless the dimmer comes with it¡¯s own cables and LED.

Terry,
I was just looking at the same thing. My illuminator seems much more "modern". All self contained with internal batteries and not much of a dimmer... more on/off.
