I align Gemini 2 with an initial alignment and a yhen couple of additional alignments for better accuracy.
Do a few GOTOs . . . all seems well.
Then during a GOTO it just stops, well off target. It then will allow you to "GOTO" and select another object . . . solar system or bright star but when you try to actually GOTO it . . . nothing.
Only shutting the switch off and starting over again works when this happens. Like rebooting a crashed computer.
It was near where you would be concerned about hitting the mount but there is supposed to be a beep warning for hard limit, no?
Another time I had it actually hit the motor housing . . . no warning there either.
How many here are actually USING this thing as opposed to waiting for one?
My experience so far, limited to perhaps 6 hours or so over 4 nights indicates software "not ready for prime time."
I hope the final version results in more reliable performance than I have experienced so far.
