Tthe version is correct, but it sounds like you may have some installation issues if the program crashes when switching to the debug tab. Can you try doing a complete uninstall and then reinstall? Don¡¯t just delete files, use Windows to uninstall it.

Paul,
?
I show under the Help tab the revision as: nVision V5.42.0.0

At step one, the link requested user information and the device as "ulink2".? After filling this out, their system sent the file named MDKCM525.exe.? This I installed.? However, the instructions in message 28533 refer to some items I do not see.
?
Also, I cannot reload Software Service Packs, or at least making the request appears to do nothing.

Your right, it may look the same but if I'm off base on step one, I'm pretty much in a different place. ?Best to check and verify the version.

On My device tab

I'm not sure where or how to select or refer to NXP/LPC2388/ARM within.? I can edit the field, but this refers to a file.
?
Pressing the Settings button above makes the program abend.
?
Attempting to go to the Debug tab makes the program abend.
?
This is all moot if this is a version or installation issue.? Best if you can confirm I obtained the correct tool?

Thanks
