Hallo Rainer,
Well I have the same error even when I am just doing it in GCC.
1. GoTo Aldebaran
2. Center it via the GCC handpad
3. Do an Additional Align
OK
4. Invoke a Meridian Flip
G11 slews to Aldebaran as wanted
No. It does not slew to Aldebaran, it flips to the current coordinates.
For Gemini, this is just a RA/DEC position that replaces the previously
selected object Aldebaran.
Gemini can do a GoTo Aldebaran with the flip option, by sending :MM#
instead of :MS# instead. You will have to ask Daniel if he includes
this as an option into GCC.
5. Centering with the GCC Handpad
6. Do an Additional Align
and PENG the ERROR comes up
No problem
Steps 5 and 6 don't help, see above.
7. Make a GoTo to Aldebaran again
8. Center with the GCC Handpad
9. Do an Additional Align
10. Everything OK and new values appear in the Hardware window
? So ? what is the next step ...
As you prefer... ask Daniel if he adds a checkbox for the flip to the
Catalogs screen, change your procedure as described above, or order
Gemini2 with the web interface and the graphical HC both offering the
flip option ;-)
