I forgot it!

I?m trying to connect to the Gemini using a cross-over ethernet cable, but I can
not connect to the IP 192.168.0.111. I have configured Windws connection to
static IP 192.168.0.110, subnet Mask 255.255.255 .0.....

After differentes attempts changing values on the IP of my Laptop I can not
connect... Some advice?

I have tested the cross-over cable, it is ok and when I connect it to the laptop
and Gemini, Windows detects the connection..
If the Ethernet port you are using on your PC is gigabit, you do not
need a crossover cable. Gigabit ports must, and some 100Mb ports can, do
automatic detection.

You did not say if your Gemini is configured to use DHCP. If it is, you
have to have a DHCP server to give it an address.

You could install Wireshark on the PC. Sniff
the traffic on that port while you turn the Gemini on to find out what
it is sending.

netscanner (mentioned elsewhere) needs you to know what IP range you
want to check. Wireshark sees everything.
