GEO 210 Probe budget kit
hi.. got the probe kit.? Do you have a clip to attach the red wire to the round connection on a LND 7311 sensor??? all I got was the red wire, couple of resistors, shrink wrap ...??
as for mechanicals and mounting the lnd7311 in the housing -? the 3 brackets hold it down - have to punch holes through the foam gasket for the screws - that seems intuitive.? The kit included nuts and washers I see no use for ??? Also, the bracket hole at the bottom six o'clock position is right where the LND 7311 stem will be.? I'm guessing twist the probe around a bit and have the LND stem a bit off of six o'clock so that mounting screw/bracket can fit.?? thanks |
yes that should be there, can you show mea picture of the parts you found so far? ?George? yes the probe sits sort of sideways. 1 resistor. The other is spare, both same 3.3 Meg Ohms. Goes in series with center pin from BNC to the clip. Ludlum solders the resistor right to the clip, then the wire to the other end of the resistor, so I do it that way. Not sure the value, they appear the same.? a) I assume I only need one of them. b) where does the one resistor go??? Is it inline from the BNC connector center pin with the red wire to the LND clip??? thanks |
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýThank you.. that is what I thought, just wanted to make sure.?? ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]>

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýUp and running.? I ended up putting the resistor at the BNC connector and shrink wrapping the crud out of that end for strain relief purposes. Then I pigtail loop under and around to the LND terminal with other end of wire soldered to the clip.? It¡¯s a tight squeeze.?? This little thing kicks butt ??? ?
