Gotten worse

I had prostate issues with a high psa around a year ago.? My psa was at 6.5, just had reading and it was at 11.2 and free psa at 6.92.??
I had gone to the full budwig of 3 tablespoons flax oil, 2 table spoons ground flax seed and 6 tablespoons low fat cottage cheese.? This was done twice a day.? Also I am taking other supplements including fenben and ivermectin.? My nurse oncologist wants me to see a oncologist.? She also feels that because I am taking so many supplements it is compromising my immune system.? Must say I am disappointed, did not expect such a radical jump

Sorry to hear this. For one thing, supplements aid the immune system, they do not compromise it. That said, fenben and ivermectin are not "supplements" and they could be doing more damage than good. I did the fenben for a 6 month period in 2019 while doing Budwig and sent in HCG tests prior and after and there was no improvement over the times I did just BP, and my liver wasn't happy either. I was also having stomach pains so I quit the fenben. I have been a member of a few fb cancer groups when I had facebook, and a couple of those groups were fenben/iver indicated. From what I noticed after several years of monitoring is that the fenben isn't a worthy stand alone treatment, meaning it does better when combined with CHEMO than without.

The only additional treatment I did, other than actual supplements (mushrooms, vit d, etc) was artemisia annua and that actually is what finished off what I started. I have mentioned it a few time in the group and a few other have had success as well. I had to administer it as a "tea" in an enema to get a sufficient amount, and combined it with my daily coffee enema.

I was dealing with stage 4 lung cancer, not prostate. To be honest, from what I do know about PC those numbers don't seem particularly high, even tho an increase.

Are you following the diet fairly closely? When I was BP only I found that the diet was very important to the success of the protocol.

Hi.? I’ve had PC for 25 years now. Monitored it throughout.? PSA during that time period rose from 6 to 17. I wouldn’t be too concerned about your situation.? Have you had a biopsy? That will give you a much better picture of where you’re at.? The oncologist will be quite eager to remove or treat your prostate.? Do the biopsy and if Gleason score is high, like 3+4 =7, then have bone scan and CT scan to check for cancer spread before you let the oncologist even touch you.

No I have not had a biopsy.? I am willing to have one on the condition there is an available treatment like tulsa pro or hifu covered by insurance in my area (less invasive procedures that target the lesion as opposed total carpet bombing of the lesion) .? If I go to the onco and he says 3+3 or 3+4 or whatever, he will just propose r and r..removal or radiate or some of the other treatments that pose side effects.? In addition, you really are up to the expertise of the practioner as well.? I was concerned because the exo dx urine test is supposed to be a liquid biopsy, and mine kept close to doubling which would indicate a pathology.

?As it stands now, all I can do is experiment

I am following the cottage cheese/flax seed/flax seed oil exactly...twice a day at three tablespoons each of oil, 6 of cottage cheese and 2 tablespoons of flax seed ground.? I am am not using sauerkraut juice, some whole bread, a little cheese, nuts everyday almost.? Salads with radishes, vitamin d/k supplementation (30k for d).? Some fish and ground turkey.? Try to walk a lot when weather permits.

What I think made an impact was losing job back in October.? I knew immediately that stress would affect, and at least some practitioners believe that has a very big impact on cancer

I am sorry to hear your news.? Are you juicing?? It makes the body more alkaline and the cancer likes an acidic environment.? Gerson program? juices 12 times a day, Wark program juices 8 times a day, Budwig is three times a day so much easier.? Can you get your Vit D naturally.? I know it is tougher in the winter.? She also rec a vegetarian diet, fish can be consumed very occasionally.?
Hope this helps.?

No juicing..maybe I will buy one.? I was told to improve alkalinity by using baking soda, possibly with black strap molasses.? Also I have been drinking coffee, two cups a day, was told this is good for? prostate, although that increases acidity.? This might be helped with a light roast as this may be less acidic.? I have ordered PH strips to test for alkaline levels.

I speak from experience and a lot of research. Any protocols that fake alkalinity, like baking soda, are pretty much wives tale urban legend interweb hocus pocus gossip. All that does is affect your urine ph, your blood ph is always within very strict margins or you would die. Cancel the order for the ph strips if you can, they will only aggravate you.

Juicing is important as it allows the body to absorb nutrients without much effort, saving energy for the immune system. Dr B did not approve of coffee, but I also drank a couple cups a day and healed. I would strongly suggest looking into coffee enemas however.

I would also suggest to add some artemisia annua powder to the coffee maker when you brew your enema.

Juicing is an essential part of the Budwig protocol. ?I feel the positive effects of these juices and you will too. ?I bought a Breville juicer, which is a workhorse, not too expensive and easy to clean. ? I like carrot/apple/beet/ginger and celery/apple/ginger. ?The beet is good for the liver and keeps the bile flowing. ?It improves my digestion. ?Some days I make Rod’s juice - so delicious. ? He has posted the recipe on this list. ?It makes two generous servings. ??

Regarding PSA screening for cancer, there is a brilliant doctor and statistician/researcher named H. Gilbert Welch, who has studied prostate and breast cancer mortality and screening. ? He’s written several books and journal articles including in The New England Journal of Medicine. ?One book is called Overdiagnosed: Making People Sick in the Pursuit of Health. ?It is sold on Amazon. ?

Try the juicing. ?I think you will love it.

Very best,
Marilyn

Where can I find Rod’s juice recipe? And, Rod, what is your normal protocol/routine now that you’re healed?

Rod posted his own version of V8 juice last April, but not sure how to forward. ?So, I copied and pasted below. ?Hope you don’t mind, Rod. ? It is so good. ?Marilyn?

8 oz apple or pineapple

4 oz kale

2 oz parsley or spinach

1 small Roma tomato

ginger

1 fat celery rib

1/4 of a large beet

2-1/2 pounds of carrots, give or take, to finish

How about that?!? The only thing I would add is that I divided this recipe after juicing into two servings. The 1st serving I drank at lunch time and the 2nd later in the afternoon, before dinner. Carrot will be 2 to 2-1/2 pounds, the last thing I add, until the pitcher is full to the line (about 26 - 28 ounces total). Be careful with the ginger, about 1 sq inch is all I use or it can get a bit "hot". Alternate between apple and pineapple. Beets come in a variety of sizes, I used 1/4 of a large, 1/2 of a medium, or all of a small beet. Everything in this juice is known to play a part against cancer.

Good job, Marilyn.

Marilyn posted up my typical juice recipe. As far as current protocol, I am still juicing and will for the rest of my life. It is the most nutritious thing I get most of the time. I haven't done anything else BP for a couple of years, but am thinking of restarting with the FO/CC in the morning just for overall health aspect. I did seem to have more energy when I was doing the protocol.

Probiotics, vit d along with k2, magnesium, zinc I take every day as well. I tired of making sauerkraut and juicing that after a few years, but definitely recommend it for those who are still in the battle.
