Lignans are just a waste of money as they are not helpful to the protocol and take up space in the bottle that should be used for oil. Check out Puritans Pride as they are now having their 3 for the price of 1 sale, works out to about $7 a bottle and there are also coupon codes that can get you another 15 to 20 percent off. Free shipping if you order enough. Rod in MN/USA On Thursday, July 28, 2022, 10:53:13 PM CDT, Dmitry Suspitsin <sudmal2@...> wrote: Rod, Thank you! I will be switching to another branch. Glass is better, but there are very few options available in glass. I have been using oil that was bottled in plastic the entire time I have been on the protocol and I healed so I think it is not a major issue. I would expect the amount of heat required for chemicals to leach into the oil would be higher than one would expect from normal handling and shipping, if at all. I use Puritan's Pride oil for much the same reason as you use Trader Joe's, the cost. Also the convenience of online availability comes into play. As long as the numbers are similar I see no reason to pay more for a brand name. I have been using Trader Joe¡¯s flex oil for a while. What sold me on it was it is organic, and of course the price which is about 2.5 times lower than that for the Barlean¡¯s brand.? What I don¡¯t like about the Barlean brand is it¡¯s plastic container. I read somewhere oil has the propensity to absorb chemicals from plastic during hot temperatures. And one never knows what happens to food stuffs during delivery. I am probably overly paranoid on this issue, though! Thanks.? Dmitry? Not Sandra, but I can say for certain that you do not want any lignans in your oil. You will add freshly ground flax seed later.
