Re: Baud Rate For APRS #aprs

You will need to go into Device Manager on your PC to determine what COM port you are connected to. If it is not clear while looking at it, disconnect the USB cable and see which one goes away. Plug the USB back in and see which one shows up. That will give you the COM port for the software. The default baud for the TT4 is 19200, so unless you changed it for some reason, that should work.

I am running APRSIS32 on a Windows 11 PC with a TinyTrak4 TNC connected to my Yeasu FT857d radio.? The TT4 I know is properly configured - I used it years ago.? The software needs to know the port and gives me a choice of 3 or 4, and a baud rate.? Where do I find the baud rate to use?? And how do I know which port to use?? Thanks - I am setting up an iGate in a rural area with no other iGates within reasonable distances. Thanks!
