Go for the obvious first - which would be the ribbon connector. Anything?that physically moves or has any tension on it has to be a candidate. Hopefully you will find the issue and it will be a cheapish part.

Nope not that one either? i have tried a dtmf? mic but same results? mic
setting is back to the standard mic? ?it is a pain? i have been? thru every
thing i can find? puts it down to a duff joint or a duff Component tht will be
where the real fun starts? ?. watch? this space? .
