This is one that has been bugging me for some time now .

If i turn my 857 off turn it back on a bit later all the rotary controls
work just fine but non of the buttons .

It can take anywhere between 5 and 10 mins for them to behave i have tried a
different head tried the cable both short and long factory cables tested the
cables and the head on another radio all ok but i can not find any hint of
a bad connection on the radio boards at all .

Anyone else had this and found an the answer .
