Hi, I'm new to the group and in the early stages of looking for an early Cadillac, I have zero experience with cars this early though, and am looking for things to look for when evaluating one. I'd really like to have a four-door convertible, but if the right car speaks to me, I'm open to other styles. thanks, Carolyn

Good afternoon to all! I am having a set of privacy shade brackets reproduced and would like to see if anyone else would be interested in a set. They are for my 25 Custom Series 5 pass coupe and I do not know what other years or models used them. The reason for reproducing them is that only one bracket survived and the rest turned to dust, maybe yours did too. They will be CNC machined from aluminum and plated with bright nickel. I have modeled the part in CAD software and 3d printed a prototype to ensure it fits and looks correct. I am awaiting a quote from my machinist so pricing will come soon. I have attached a photo of the original and prototype for reference.

Does anyone have a carb for a type 61 or v63 that they could part with (core should be fine, I can pull the bits off mine) I've been trying to dial in my carb and fixing one thing unearths another - I've fixed most of the leaks except for one which turns out to be a crack in the thread at the bottom of the carb Or alternatively if anyone has any suggestions on how to repair it

Looking for info and possible value of a 1924 opera coupe, the motor is tight but the radiator is full of water I don’t think it’s locked to tight. It has always been stored inside and was last running in the early 2000’s.

Hi all There was some discussion a year or so ago about the rubber section that goes around the windscreen post and between the cowl and the lower part of the windscreen. Hi All, I had an issue with my 22 Victoria coupe where it was running only on four cylinders. I pulled the drivers side head and discovered that only three valves are lifting properly. I will pull the pass side head soon, but I expect similar behavior. My next step is to remove the valvetrain cover plates and inspect that, but it's a possibility the cam is wiped, or perhaps some push rods are bent or broken. Not sure yet. Any guidance is helpful! I've never worked on a flathead before. I'm also on the lookout for a set of heads, mine are cracked and have been poorly braised back together. Thanks! Jayce

Guessing nobody has a spare of this spring that's supposed to attach the float to the hinge and pin (would be very greatful if you do!) but does anyone at least have a picture of it? In the photo it looks like it's just a simple horse shoe with what I'm guessing is a cut out for the pin And yes if it's missing it overfills the carb and fuel pours over the top of the bowl and out the drain at an alarming rate Or if anyone is looking to sell a (reasonably) complete carb I'd be interested as well as mine is pretty worn but I could probably pull enough good bits off it with another
